Centuries of Story, One Private Bay
Long before its modern chapter, Tahapuke was a 'turangawaewae' — a standing place for Māori Chief Te Keemua and his people, with two Pā sites still watching over the bay from the headland above.
Built in the early 1900s and held within the Fladgate family ever since, the property opens onto its own private island, sweeping views across to Paihia, and a stretch of shoreline reserved entirely for guests.
